Created Teen Court program to address Truancy and At-risk youth as an alternative to probation.
Started year-round student internships and work release programs for high school and college students.
Introduced Mediation and on sitecourt Mediators to dispose of over 300 civil cases that were pending trial.

Accessibility & Accountability

Volunteered with the school districts on career days and regularly attended events within my service area.
Appointed to a technology committee by Executive Dallas County staff to improve systemwide accounting measures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Recognized errors in current court processes and made long needed adjustments in the best interest of the taxpayers and to increase productivity.

Systems Improvement

Transitioned from paper-based to electronic processes that will develop a new case management system within Justice of the Peace courts converting to paperless processes in order to streamline case processing times.
Standardized processes for all Justice of the Peace courts to meet state requirements.
