Meet Judge Mike Jones

Judge Mike Jones is from Dallas, Tx. He attended schools in the Desoto ISD and graduated from DeSoto High School. After graduation he started his undergraduate degree at an HBCU with Texas Southern University. Judge Mike Jones has always strived to make a difference in the community by volunteering and being a vocal leader for community advancement. Mike is committed to serving his community by actively serving on various boards and professional associations. He is a well-rounded and innovative individual who is believes in making a change.

Judge Jones is a member of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where he previously served in the childrens' choir ministry.

Judge Jones is a proud husband to Brandee and father to their 4 children: Xavier , Brandyn, Caydence, and Addison.

• Master’s in Management and Public Administration, University of Phoenix

• Bachelor’s in Applied Arts and Sciences, University of North Texas

• Associates in Criminal Justice, Cedar Valley College

• Associates in Real Estate, Cedar Valley College

• Certificate in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, El Centro College

• Currently pursuing a degree in Paralegal Studies, El Centro College

Experience

• Presiding Judge, Justice of the Peace, 4-1 (2019-Present)

• Combination of over 28 years of experience in Government, Education, and Real Estate

• Experience in numerous capacities for the City of Dallas in positions including but not limited to: District Manager, Contract Manager, Property Manager, Budget Analysts, Reorganization Coordinator, Project Coordinator, and a Code Compliance Officer

• Managed and prepared $80 million operating budget for Information Technology department supporting Dallas Public Safety Departments (Dallas Police and Fire Depts)

• Over 15 years’ experience in Real Estate in various areas of Commercial, Residential, and Property Management

• Current Adjunct Professor for Dallas County Community College District
